What is a Marine Surveyor?
A Marine surveyor can inspect all types of boats, from small fishing boats all the way up to commercial crafts. This is to help ensure proper functioning and structural integrity of boats. The primary responsibility of a marine surveyor is to conduct a thorough and extensive survey of a ship to determine the seaworthiness of the vessel. This is important when trying to insure your new boat and it also lets the shipowner know that the boat they are receiving is in the best possible condition.
